
The Clay Golem (クレイゴーレム, Kureigōremu?), also known as the MudGOL or Cray Golem, is a recurring enemy in the Final Fantasy series, first appearing in the original Final Fantasy. It is typically the weakest member of the golem family.

The Clay Golem, also known as the MudGOL, appears as an enemy encountered in the Citadel of Trials, the Flying Fortress and the Chaos Shrine. Despite its sturdy appearance, its has a very low Defense stat and can be defeated quite easily with physical attacks. Magical attacks do not work as well due to the Clay Golem's numerous resistances and high Magic Defense stat.
Final Fantasy XII

The Clay Golem appears as an enemy encountered in the Rays of Ashen Light area of the Mosphoran Highwaste. It rarely drops the Iron Pole.
Final Fantasy XIV

The Clay Golem is a member of the golem enemy family. It is first encountered as a boss during Just Deserts,
Spirithold Broken, or
Way Down in the Hole. It can later be encountered as a regular enemy in the North Shroud.
