Mesmenir (メズマライズ, Mezumaraizu?, lit. Mesmerize), also known as Mesmerize, is a recurring enemy in the Final Fantasy series.
Appearances
Final Fantasy VIII
Mesmerize is an enemy fought around the Trabia region as well as the Esthar region before the Lunar Cry. They primarily attack with physical attacks, and when damaged enough will have their horn destroyed, limiting them to fewer abilities. They are a great source of Mega-Potion.
Final Fantasy XII
Mesmenir is an enemy fought at Ozmone Plain, generally in groups of other Mesmenirs. It attacks with physical attacks only, and should be of no threat to the player once they encounter it.
Final Fantasy XV
Mesmenir fought in Leide and during the Varmints of the Wastelands and The Hunter-Slaying Herd hunts. A group of four also appears in the Leide League and All-Star Monster Mayhem of the Totomostro.
