- This article is about the Third Demon World princess. For the film character, see Pansy. For the episode of the same name, see Panzy (episode).
Panzy (パンジ Panji) is the daughter of King Kadan and princess of the Third Demon World.
Concept and Creation
Panzy's name appears to come from "Pansy", a genus of flower.
Appearance

Panzy is a young woman of small stature physically resembling a small child, with seafoam green skin and long beige hair tied in two pigtails with magenta hair bands and violet eyes. Being a demon, she has her signature pointed ears. She wears an orange jumpsuit, over a white top with a black gear shape in the middle and two sliver buttons on the front and back, magenta arm warmers and socks, yellow gloves and boots. She also has a purple scarf around her neck that used to hide her Magic Collar until Shin destroyed it and a blue shoulder bag. As the Masked Majin, Panzy wears a hooded green cloak with a red and white mask on top of her regular outfit.
Personality
Panzy is a curious and restless young woman who cannot stand the injustice and abuse the residents of the Third Demon World have to suffer through because of the tyrannical decisions of King Gomah. For this reason, she always tries to defend her subjects or try to sabotage the actions of the Gendarmerie. After being saved by Goku and seeing what he is capable of, Panzy interceded for him before her father and decided to accompany him on his journey to see Gomah defeated.

Daima Saga

Panzy confronts the Gendarmerie under a disguise when they attempt to take an old man's lifeforce and prepares to use her Wasabi Bomb only for it to fail to explode. She then flees until one of the soldiers catches her but Panzy tazes him and runs again. However, she gets caught again causing Goku to step in to rescue her while defeating the Gendarmerie in the process. Once they escape the scene, Panzy removes her mask and introduced herself and asks Goku who he is.[2] Panzy asks Goku how he is so strong despite being a child and he responds by telling her that he simply trains leading to her confusion. Noticing that he doesn't have the signature pointed ears of the Demon Realm Race, she asks where he is from. Though he says that he is a Saiyan, Glorio is quick to point out that he is from the Second Demon World to avoid unnecessary questions and suspicions. The three begin to head off with Goku accidentally letting slip that they are on the way to Kadan Castle and so Panzy invites herself along despite Glorio's request for her not to follow.

After exchanging names, Panzy asks Goku what magic he is good at and demonstrates her ability to lift a small rock though states that her real specialty is with machine tinkering. The small group continue to make conversation as they take a shortcut on their journey, discussing the cruelty of the Gendarmeries and King Gomah. Panzy reveals that she is 82 years old, quite young for her kind who live to be up to 1,000 years and much to Goku's surprise that she is actually older than he is.

Eventually Panzy, Goku, Glorio and Shin reach Kadan Castle where they are greeted in hostile fashion by its guards. It is here that Panzy reveals herself to be the Princess and daughter of King Kadan. Heading inside, they meet with the King who becomes annoyed that Glorio has merely brought along children when he had been promised warriors strong enough to have defeated the great Majin Buu. Panzy reassures her father of his strength, having witnessed him single handedly take down the Gendarmerie. After revealing that Goku and Shin are actually from the outside world, Kadan voices his intention to become the Supreme Demon King as he does not believe that the villainous Gomah is fit for the position. Kadan offers Panzy up for marriage to Goku should all his plans play out though he tells them all that he is actually already married and has two children much to Kadan and Panzy's surprise due to his child-like appearance. After Goku takes down the horde of soldiers for a test, Panzy joins Goku on their journey as she desires to see Gomah get taken down. Boarding the plane and saying their farewells, Glorio takes off with a planned four-day trip to the Dragon Ball. However mere moments after having taken to the air the engine begins to sputter and the plane crash lands to the ground below[3] due to the heavy load.
After unloading the plane and fixing it, Panzy recalls Goku calling Shin a Kai and learns about them and that Shin is a Supreme Kai. Panzy is amazed but confused that Kais don't get paid for their work. Suddenly, Goku feels the need to defecate, and Panzy throws some toilet paper at him as he goes to the bushes. Just then, Panzy, Shin, and Glorio are confronted by two Gendarmerie soldiers looking for Goku and ask what world they're from. Glorio says he's from the first, Shin says he's from the second and Panzy begrudgingly reveals the collar on her neck, signifying she's from the third. The officers ask if they've seen Goku, and Glorio lies, saying they haven't. Satisfied, the officers leave right as Goku returns from the bushes. The group then continue flying and Panzy asks Shin if Glind are really born from trees. Shin confirms this and reveals their history. As night falls, Panzy offers to take a turn at piloting the plane, but Glorio decides it's best for them to rest for the night instead.

They camp out in a cave and Panzy asks if Glorio was really from the First Demon World, which he confirms stating that he was hired for work there. Panzy wonders who hired him, but Glorio shuts down the conversation. In the early morning, Shin and Glorio are awakened by trembling footsteps and a smelly stench. Panzy and Goku are woken up as a giant Minotaur arrives, and roars at them. Goku is undeterred but Glorio offers to take on the Minotaur and they both argue until it ends up in a sparring match to decide who gets to fight Minotaur. Everyone steps outside the cave. Panzy and Minotaur are confused at the events going on, while Shin watches intently. After Goku defeats Glorio, Panzy is stunned by the display, mistaking the Super Saiyan form for magic while the Minotaur retreats back into the cave. The group prepare to take their leave, but Goku needs to poop again.[4]

Panzy, Glorio, Goku, and Shin continue their journey towards the Tamagami when they are suddenly approached by the Gendarmerie who demand that they land the plane as they are still in search for a young child with spiky hair and a staff who attacked them previously. Complying with their demands, Glorio lands the plane and Goku heads towards the back to hide. After Panzy, Glorio, and Shin leave the plane, the Gendamerie search the plane but find nothing due to Goku using Instant Transmission. However, when the soldiers try to arrest Panzy under suspicion of being the masked individual, she uses her stun gun on one of them, causing the others to rush in to attack. Glorio, Shin, and Goku defeat them and destroy their planes. Before embarking Panzy voices her frustrations about the Magic Collar around her neck causing Shin to use Pan Paka Paan to destroy it. An extremely grateful Panzy asks her savior for his original name to which he replies "Nahare".
They then continue their journey using one of the Gendamerie's planes after theirs was destroyed in the battle and arrive at a village where Tamagami Number Three is located.[5] Panzy watches Goku defeat Tamagami Number Three to claim the Three-Star Demon Realm Dragon Ball and is amazed at how powerful Goku is.[6]
Panzy and the group then rest at a hotel but deal with bandits who steal the Dragon Ball from them but manage to reclaim it. When returning to their hotel room, Panzy gets into communication with her father who informs her where they need to go in order to meet up with Vegeta's group. The next morning, they re-board the plane and take off to meet them but are unable to take them along with them due to the planes limited space.

Panzy tells them that she will contact her father to deliver another plane and then set off for the Second Demon World[7] where they are attacked by the Gendarmerie and a Kraken, losing their plane in the process. Once they reach Namek and reunite with Vegeta's group, Panzy learns about the history of the Demon Realm and Multiverse from Shin and later also from Neva.[8] They head for Tamagami Number Two where Vegeta is successfully able to claim its Dragon Ball[9][10] before making an unintended stop at the planet Mega after the plane crashes. Panzy fixes up the ship with the help of Bulma, learning about Capsules and in turn informing Bulma about Majilite, promising to give her some after their adventure is over.

After the plane is fixed,[11] Panzy and the others eventually find their way into the First Demon World where they quickly attacked by the Gendarmerie again though Goku and his friends cause them to make a hasty retreat.[12][13] Arriving at the Demon's King Palace, Goku, Vegeta, Piccolo and Shin make their way inside in order to rescue Dende with Panzy waiting outside. However, she is not able to wait for long as she follows after them, finding them in a difficult position as Degesu has decided to take Dende hostage. Panzy tries to take Degesu by surprise and attacks, but he easily halts her attack. He is then unexpectedly struck with Hybis' hat. Incapacitated, Piccolo takes down Degesu while Panzy catches Dende. Glorio is revealed to be the one who threw the hat, having also followed the others into the palace along with Hybis.
After Degesu is caught and taken away, the others leave the palace having saved Dende.[14] Shortly afterwards Gomah emerges from the palace empowered by the Evil Third Eye and Panzy can do little but watch as her powerful comrades take him on.[15][16][17]

They eventually prevail and make their way back to Kadan castle where Panzy provides Bulma with a large amount of Majilite as was promised. As Goku and the others get set to travel back home, Panzy joins them to see them off. On the way they stop once more at a tea shop that they had visited earlier. As Panzy explores the unique goods in the store she comes across a dusty jar. Dusting it down, the jar is revealed to contain two more Evil Third Eyes much to the surprise of Panzy and the others.[18]
Power
Like Bulma, Panzy is skilled in technology as she is able to fix the Demon Realm Planes. However, her magical power is weak as shown when using Telekinesis it has a limited range.
