Kadan (カダン Kadan) is the King of the Third Demon World and father of Panzy.
Appearance
King Kadan is a large and portly being with teal colored skin. He bears a light brown mustache and mohawk and has a scar that runs down the left side of his face. He wears armor that covers his shoulders, chest and abdomen, arm bands with black undergarments and a purple cape. Like most demons of the Third Demon World, King Kadan also wears a Magic Collar.
Personality
As described by Glorio, Kadan's disposition is that of an "uncivilized mafia boss", though Panzy claims he is not as bad as other Demons, since he selectively steals from criminals and executes bad people. Kadan believes Gomah is a threat to the peace of the Demon Realm and hopes to take the position himself. He is very protective and fond of Panzy, and enjoys teasing her, such as when he promised her hand in marriage to Goku if he took down Gomah (only for Goku to reveal he was already a husband and father).
Biography
Dragon Ball Daima
Daima Saga
Kadan is playing golf with demon skulls until a soldier informs him of Glorio's return and heads to the throne room to meet him. Upon noticing Goku and Shin's appearances, Kadan questions Glorio about bringing the ones who defeated Majin Buu only to be surprised that it was them. Panzy also backs this up by mentioning that Goku protected her from the Gendarmerie. Kadan gives his thanks to Goku and is asked by Panzy about bringing him here. Kadan mentions that Glorio told him that he could find someone from the outside world to defeat Gomah. Shin questions Kadan about his request for Gomah's defeat with Kadan stating his intention to become the Supreme Demon King for peace as Gomah is a threat to their world. Kadan then tells Goku that he can marry Panzy once she grows up but gets told off by Panzy and both are shocked to learn that he is already married despite his child-like appearance. Shin reveals that Gomah was the cause of their child forms and plan to return to normal by rescuing Dende or gathering the Demon Realm Dragon Balls. Kadan tells them that the Tamagami's strength are the reason no one has been able to gather the Dragon Balls and decides to test Goku's strength. Upon watching Goku defeat his strongest soldiers, Kadan gives him a plane and supplies and has Hybis bring his friends to the Demon Realm.[1]

Later on, after Goku and his party arrive in the First Demon World, Kadan and his Kadan Force arrive via plane to help out just as Gendarmerie Tanks begin to cause trouble for Goku, Vegeta and Piccolo.[2] Even after their plane is shot down, Kadan and his men continue the fight and help force the Gendarmerie to make a retreat. After Goku gives his thanks, Kadan joins him on his way over to Tamagami Number One[3] but shortly after Gomah appears having claimed the Evil Third Eye. Far outmatched by this enemy, Kadan and his men can only watch on stunned to the ongoing events.[4][5][6]
After the battle is over and Gomah and Degesu are locked away, Majin Kuu is made the newest Supreme Demon King. His first action is to appoint a number of ministers, one of which is Kadan, the first minister from the Third Demon World, due to his courage. Upon returning home, Kadan explains to Goku that since he created the hole between the Demon Worlds during his battle with Gomah, the air has become lighter there and thanks him for everything before making his final farewells.[7]
