Nimufu Mani is a character and boss enemy who appears in Breath of Fire II. She is a graduate of the Witch School and transforms an infatuated Jean into a giant frog.
Role in Breath of Fire II
When the party first encounters Jean, he tells them that he has been cursed by a witch and is trapped in the form of a giant frog. He pleads with you to go to WitchTwr and ask her to remove the curse. The tower is full of individuals who she has turned to stone. Many of these were young men who hoped to win her affections, but Seso the Water Shaman is also among them. Upon reaching Nimufu, a boss fight ensues. After the battle Nimufu complains that the only one who likes her is "some frog" and tells you how to remove the curse on him.
After removing the curse and returning Jean to his normal form, the party travels to SimaFort where Jean is forced to prove his lineage. To do this he requires the Royal Ring, which he had previously given to Nimufu in an effort to win her affection. The party travels back to WitchTwr and discovers that Nimufu has gone to WildCat for the Witch School's reunion party. They finally track her down in the restaurant's bathroom, where she admits to dropping the ring in the toilet. Following the retrieval of the ring, Nimufu expresses incredulity at being gifted with such a valuable item. She vanishes from the game thereafter and is not encountered again.
