J.Worm is a boss enemy that appears in Breath of Fire II. It is encountered in the basement of SimaFort.
Story
Defeating the J.Worm rewards the party with the WormMeat, one of the three key ingredients Jean needs for the cooking competition in SimaFort. In order to acquire the other two, the party must defeat a G.Roach and a GoldFly.
Strategy
Ryu should begin by using one of his dragon forms, and following this should stick to attacking. Sten should use Flame if he knows it, or otherwise use Spark , while Nina should use S.Boom. Rand should act as the party's healer and attack when healing isn't necessary. It's a good idea to have Nina and Sten in the rear of the defense formation, because they have low HP and Defense and their spell damage doesn't take a penalty from such placement.
J.Worm frequently uses SwtBrth, which can put party members to sleep. They can be woken up with Rand's Wake command or by having Nina attacking them.
