Joker is a non-playable character and minor antagonist who appears in Breath of Fire II. He is the leader of the Joker Gang.
Joker is the leader of a group of criminals and thieves headquartered in Mt. Rocko commonly referred to as the Joker Gang. They take a keen interest in Nina and Mina, the princesses of Wyndia. Joker's harassment toward the sisters escalates throughout the early stages of the game. Eventually, the gang takes Mina hostage in an attempt to lure Nina to Mt. Rocko and force her to become Joker's slave. However, before Nina gives into Joker's demands, Ryu and Katt burst in and attack his cronies. Nina then uses a spell to cause the ceiling to collapse on Joker, rather than killing him. This causes the villain to lose his temper and reveal his true form as a demon. The party then proceeds to defeat him in battle, thus securing Mina and Nina's freedom.
