The DNA Scanner is a device created by Dr. Joseph Chadwick.

Appearance

The DNA Scanner resembles a small rod with a red handle and a golden head.

Functions

• This device had the ability to scan the DNA of aliens so that it can be used with the Highbreed Pulse Generator to help destroy all of the aliens on Earth.
• King Chadwick had the DNA Scanner upgraded so that it could scan aliens in Ben's Omnitrix and revert Ben back to normal.

History

Omniverse

In Return to Forever, King Chadwick gave Sir Morton the DNA Scanner, he used it multiple times to revert Ben to normal when he transforms. The DNA Scanner was eventually destroyed by Rook.

The DNA Scanner was used to scan Echo Echo, Ampfibian, Swampfire, Eatle, Armodrillo, Waterhazard, Cannonbolt, and Four Arms.

• The DNA Scanner does not work on hybrids because it would either injure or kill them.^{[DJW 4]}
• Because Anodites lack DNA, the DNA Scanner would not work on Gwen.^{[DJW 5]}
