I've got you outnumbered. Four arms to two!

– Four Arms to Trombipulor.[1]

Four Arms (alternatively spelled as Fourarms)[credits 1][CN 1] is the Omnitrix's DNA sample of a Tetramand[2][3] from the planet Khoros.[4]

Appearance

Ben as Four Arms

Four Arms is a humanoid alien that is twelve feet tall.[CN 1] He has well-developed muscles, two pairs of four-fingered arms, and red skin. A black stripe goes from his chin to his lower lip, and he has four eyes: a main pair and a smaller pair below them, while he lacks ears or nose. He has whisker-like spikes on each forearm and two-toed feet.

In the Original Series, Four Arms wore a white T-shirt with a black line going down it and black pants with a strap on each foot that reveals his two toes and the back of each foot, and black fingerless gloves. He wore the original Omnitrix symbol on his upper left shoulder. His eyes were orange-yellow, and he had no hair.

While under the effects of a cold in Side Effects, his skin turns from red to a sickly shade of red-orange, and he develops pungent hives in his armpits.

In Game Over, while inside Sumo Slammer Smackdown, Four Arms wore brown shoulder pads and knee pads, grey armor under his shoulder pads as well as black pants. He wore the Omnitrix symbol on a hat on top of his head.

In Don't Drink the Water, 4-year-old Four Arms was slimmer than his 10-year-old self and had a bigger head and eyes.

In Destroy All Aliens, Four Arms remained the same except he had pale red fingernails, and his clothing had some type of fabric on the black stripe.

In Ultimate Alien, 16-year-old Four Arms wore gold wrist and ankle bands, a pair of black underwear that has a gold waistband, and two golden sashes that went across his chest. His eyes were recolored green, he had a black ponytail, and he wore the Ultimatrix symbol on his chest.

In The Forge of Creation, 10-year-old Four Arms looked exactly the same as in the Original Series except the Omnitrix symbol was recolored green.

In Heroes United, Four Arms, in addition to his clothes in Ultimate Alien, wore pants and fingerless gloves and had tattoo-like stripes on his body, making him look somewhat similar to his Original Series design.

In Omniverse, 11-year-old Four Arms looks similar to his Original Series design, except his eyes are recolored green, his skin is a lighter tone, and he has a second set of pectorals for his other set of arms.

16-year-old Four Arms has three short spikes on the top of his head, a mustache-like design, the black stripe on the top of his head is replaced with small spikes and the same second set of pectorals as his 11-year-old self. He has no hair and wears a black tank top-like shirt with one large green stripe in the middle, black pants, a green and white belt where the Omnitrix symbol is located, and black fingerless gloves with green cuffs at the wrists.

Kevin as Four Arms

Kevin's Four Arms looked the same as Ben's did in the Original Series, but with paler skin and no Omnitrix symbol.

Gwen as Four Arms

Four Arms had darker skin, hair and clothes based on Gwen's, and lacked the vertical black stripe sported by Ben's version. Just like Ben, Gwen's Four Arms wore the Omnitrix symbol on her upper left shoulder.

Ben 10,000 as Four Arms

Ben 10,000's Four Arms had a better-developed forehead, more muscle mass, a different T-shirt design and a pair of jutting incisors. He wore the Omnitrix symbol on his chest.

Powers and Abilities

Need an extra hand? I got four!

– Four Arms.[5]

Four Arms' most prominent ability is his enhanced strength, being able to lift several times his own weight and punch through various resilient materials with ease. Since Four Arms is one of Ben's strongest aliens in the Original Series, he relied on him the most when fighting large and powerful foes. Technically speaking, Four Arms is physically stronger than Methanosians and Vaxasaurians at base size.[DM 1]

Four Arms' strength allows him to use anything heavy as a weapon, from big rocks he can throw several feet away, to metal beams and pillars that can be used as clubs. His great strength even extends to his jaws, allowing him to bite metal and damage it.[6]

The older Four Arms grows, the stronger he becomes.[7] By age 16, Four Arms has become strong to the point where he was able to overpower Looma Red Wind, the princess of Khoros, despite female Tetramands being generally stronger than their male counterparts.[8][9]

By slamming his fists on the ground, Four Arms can create shock waves[10] and cause pillars of rock to erupt.[11] He can also make strong shock waves by clapping all four of his hands together,[12][11][13] a move nicknamed the Big Smack.[guide 1] Ben learned this ability from Tini.[pop-up 1][12][pop-up 2][DVD 1]

Four Arms has a high level of enhanced durability due to his tough and thorny skin,[pop-up 3][12] being able to casually take missiles from a Mechadroid[14] and a slash to the chest from Malware while barely feeling any pain.[15] In correlation to his durable skin, Four Arms is highly resistant to fire and intense heat, such as that generated by a Pyronite.[16]

Four Arms can jump several times his own height, at least seven stories up, in a single bound.[17][10][1]

Four Arms has enhanced reflexes, as he was able to catch and redirect missiles[18] in a single motion.[3]

Four Arms is immune to extremely cold temperatures, demonstrated when he fought Dr. Animo's yeti on top of a snowy mountain,[19] and when he was able to survive on Mikd'lty.[20]

Four Arms is also resistant to strong winds, such as those generated by a Geochelone Aerios, as shown with Looma.[21]

Four Arms can climb up walls by pushing his fingers into them to make hand holds.[22]

Weaknesses

Four Arms' bulk can sometimes become a disadvantage, as his immense size makes him an easy target for enemy attacks. Four Arms' size can make moving through areas designed for small species, like the Rustbucket 1[23] and 2,[24] difficult.

Four Arms can feel tremendous pain from electricity,[3] such as that generated by Galvanic Mechamorphs[25] and Gimlinopithecus.[13][9]

Four Arms can become drowsy from sedative quills.[26]

Four Arms can be trapped in bandages generated by Thep Khufans, as demonstrated by Looma.[27]

If under the effects of a cold, Four Arms' strength and stamina are severely reduced.[28]

History

Ben 10

  • Four Arms first appeared in Washington B.C., where he defeated Dr. Animo's Living Mammoth by spinning it until it fell apart. Then, he tried to save Gwen from the Mutant Parrot, but ended up being overturned and timed out.
  • In The Krakken, Four Arms pretended to be a sea monster to scare Gwen. He was then attacked by the Krakken but escaped it and ran scared to the Rustbucket to warn Max and Gwen, but they didn't believe him.
  • In Kevin 11, Four Arms jumped across the streets of New York City and went to the overpass where Kevin was attacking a street gang. Later, he grabbed Kevin, who absorbed his DNA and transformed into a Tetramand hybrid. The two fought, but Four Arms managed to defeat him just before reverting to human.
  • In Tourist Trap, Four Arms played with the rubber ball containing the Megawhatt, but accidentally dropped it, causing it to damage the place, consequently freeing the Megawhatt. He was scolded by Gwen, who slapped him. He promised to put everything in its place, but timed out before he could do so.
  • In The Alliance, Four Arms fought Rojo, her gang and Vilgax's Mechadroids, but hesitated when he realized that Rojo's gang were women, causing Max to get injured. Then, he abandoned the fight to take Gwen and an injured Max to the hospital.
  • In Lucky Girl, Four Arms tried to save some people at a museum, freed Gwen from some branches, battled the stone statues that Hex had brought to life, and threw the latter into a coffin.
  • In Side Effects, Four Arms, with a cold, pretended to be a giant bug to scare Gwen. He then "saved" Ms. Liang, spitting slime on her body and preventing poisonous black widow spiders from attacking her and accidentally destroyed Clancy's home while being attacked by ants.
  • In Secrets, Wildmutt unintentionally transformed into Four Arms due to an Omnitrix malfunction. He destroyed Vilgax's machine and was about to destroy a Mechadroid before the malfunctioning Omnitrix switched him into Ghostfreak.
    • Also, Four Arms appeared as one of the many alien templates used for Vilgax's army in an imaginary sequence.
  • In The Big Tick, Four Arms was the first alien that Ben used to try to destroy the Great One, making him punch him to try to penetrate his shell, but was unsuccessful.
  • In Framed, Kevin as Four Arms rampaged in a street of San Francisco, destroying much of it and fighting the police and Lt. Steel, making Gwen and Max believe he was Ben. Later, Ben spotted him in an alley and chased him until he reached the mint. At night, on the Golden Gate Bridge, Ben as Four Arms defeated Kevin as Diamondhead, Heatblast and was attacked by Stinkfly before Kevin reverted. Four Arms threatened to punch the defenseless Kevin, but abandoned him, saying that he had already defeated him and that he was wasn't worth it. Kevin mutated into Kevin 11 and attacked Four Arms, almost knocking him off the bridge, but was hit by a missile and fell into the sea. Four Arms saved Steel, agreeing to leave him alone before jumping away.
  • In Grudge Match, Four Arms briefly battled Technorg before he and Kevin 11 were taken to Slix Vigma and tied together. The two of them then battled Technorg again until Four Arms reverted.
  • In The Galactic Enforcers, Four Arms fought SixSix and Vulkanus, where Tini flirted with him. He helped her save a falling building. Tini asked what a Tetramand was doing on Earth before Four Arms timed out, to Ben's delight.
  • In Ghostfreaked Out, Four Arms battled Zs'Skayr and the Circus Freaks and was forced to fight Gwen when she was possessed by Zs'Skayr.
  • In Ultimate Weapon, Four Arms saved Gwen and Max from falling, scolded Max for being obsessed with the mission and battled Ah Puch.
  • In Tough Luck, Four Arms saved a bus of elderly people from falling off a cliff. When he was about to leave, he was reprimanded for not getting them off the bus and had to listen to a story from one of the elderly people there.
  • In Back With a Vengeance, Four Arms appeared three times. Firstly, he was seen in a photo. Later, he briefly fought Vilgax and Kevin 11 before switching into XLR8 to save Max and Gwen. Lastly in the Null Void, Four Arms defeated Vilgax's Null Guardian.
  • In Game Over, Four Arms defended himself from Ishiyama within Sumo Slammer Smackdown.
  • In Super Alien Hero Buddy Adventures, Four Arms helped Abel North save some people from a falling rollercoaster.
  • In Under Wraps, Four Arms tried to milk some cows.
  • In Monster Weather, Four Arms battled S.A.M. to no avail until he realized that his only weakness is the loud noise of a guitar.
  • In The Unnaturals, Four Arms defeated the Squires and Coach Finn.
  • In The Visitor, Four Arms fought the Mechadroid.
  • In Perfect Day, Four Arms defeated Vilgax, sent him to the Null Void and discovered the truth behind his perfect day in a dream.
  • In Don't Drink the Water, 4-year-old Four Arms escaped the police.
  • In Ready to Rumble, Four Arms was used for a wrestling tournament and defeated the Immovable Object, a wrestler with lobster-like features, Porcupine and Gaterboy.

  • In Hijacked, Four Arms stopped the convict and Frank from stealing the Rustbucket.
  • In Ben 10: Secret of the Omnitrix, Four Arms failed to save Gwen from a Florauna tribe.
  • In Ben 10: Destroy All Aliens, Four Arms appeared twice. Firstly, Four Arms attacked Ben in a dream. Then, Four Arms battled Retaliator until the Omnitrix switched him into Upgrade.
  • In Destroy All Aliens, Four Arms traversed Petropia with Gwen.
  • In Road Trip Rumble, Four Arms fought Gwen in order to decide whether the Omnitrix or magic is better until Gwen accidentally switched him into Upgrade.
  • In The Forge of Creation, Four Arms was defeated by Ultimate Aggregor before his older self switched him into Stinkfly.
