– Armodrillo to Psyphon's Gang.[2] |
Armodrillo is the Omnitrix's DNA sample of a Talpaedan from the planet Poiana Lüncas[note 1] in the Andromeda Galaxy.
Appearance
Ben as Armodrillo
Armodrillo is a yellow ten-foot-tall alien[3][4] with an armored, mechanical robotic-like body. His head is similar to a Greek Corinthian helmet with two ears on it, giving him the appearance of an armadillo. Armodrillo has a gray tail and jackhammer parts on his elbows, wrists and hands, creating the impression that he is a digging robot. Despite his mechanical and robotic-like appearance, all of these aspects are, in fact, biological and natural to his race. He also has blood that is grey and partially translucent.[5]
In Omniverse, Armodrillo looks similar to his Ultimate Alien appearance, but his ears are slightly longer, he has grey bolts with black markings on his shoulders and a metal circle on top of his head. His face has been restructured a little bit, his arm-drills are now much larger, and his feet are now yellow instead of grey while his toes remain grey. His fingers now have a small horizontal line design along with his tail and the black parts of his limbs, his arms, upper arms, and thighs are now more chain-like, and his forearms and shoulders are now much bulkier.
Armodrillo wears the Ultimatrix/Omnitrix symbol on his chest.
Albedo as Negative Armodrillo
Negative Armodrillo resembles Ben's Armodrillo in Omniverse, except his armor, eyes, and Ultimatrix symbol are all colored red.
Powers and Abilities
Armodrillo's power comes from his forearms, which are embedded with biomechanical pneumatic pistons.[AP 1] They run from the hand, through the arm socket, and out the elbow, and can extend out of either side. By pumping them back and forth rapidly, Armodrillo can use them as biological jackhammers and rumble the earth around him with destructive vibrations,[DVD 1] creating tremors;[6] fissures;[7][8] and earthquakes.[8][AP 1] Talpaedans can also vibrate their own bodies with extreme precision, as Andreas was able to counter-vibrate his body to nearly completely nullify the impact of a sonic cannon that would have destroyed 5 square miles. Andreas' counter-vibration was also able to completely collapse a Forever Knight castle building into rubble.[5]
Armodrillo can retract his fingers into his hand socket,[9][4] or morph his hands into spinning drills.[4][10][11][12] His mastery over the ground allows him to effortlessly dig tunnels deep in the ground;[1][13][DVD 1] to the point that his species can glide through solid earth and rock as simply as Humans can walk through air.[4][8][AP 1]
Armodrillo is incredibly strong, being able to lift a Mucilator,[14] hold his own against Trombipulor and launch him over several buildings,[8] harm a Galilean with his drills,[15] and destroy ten robots from Dimension 12.[16] Additionally, he can generate shock waves that can destroy buildings from his sheer strength, as demonstrated by Ultimate Aggregor.[17][18] Armodrillo can pump his pistons forward to further enhance the power of his punches;[11] pummel enemies; and batter buildings, even mountains, down to rubble.[AP 1] He can also do this to launch himself high in the air off the ground in a pinch;[10] shoot objects in his grip forward like a cannon;[2][19] or extend the reach of his arms for a sudden and powerful shove, as demonstrated by Toolboxx.[19]
Armodrillo possesses enhanced durability, courtesy of his armor. He is durable enough to withstand attacks from many powerful opponents, as well as being thrown through walls.[2] Armodrillo is also immune to neuroshock blasts, as demonstrated by Andreas.[5]
Armodrillo is quite agile, being able to quickly roll out of the way of Slamworm's attack.[11]
Armodrillo is capable of rapidly spinning his drills to generate a continuous shock wave that effectively functions as a blender. This technique was used by Humungousaur with Armodrillo's arm (courtesy of Skurd) to completely disintegrate a tree.[20]
Weaknesses
Certain weapons can cause Armodrillo's nervous system to go out of control and make him unable to stop vibrating his arm.[2]
Being a Talpaedan, Armodrillo is at a massive disadvantage against a Slammoid due to them being able to easily dig him out of the ground,[14][10][11] their beak can find weaker joints to puncture his flesh, whereas acid projectiles can dissolve his armor entirely.[DJW 1]
Armodrillo is vulnerable to electricity.[2]
Armodrillo can be rendered unconscious if he is hit by a quill from a member of Argit's species, as demonstrated with Andreas.[5]
Armodrillo can be suffocated if a large amount of matter covers his whole body and compresses it enough.[21]

Notes
- ↑ Poiana Lüncas was revealed to be Armodrillo's home planet in the fifty-third issue of the Cartoon Network Action Pack series, released on December 1, 2010.[AP 1] Despite this, on April 14, 2011, a user named Reece Philippe Villamonte edited this page, claiming that Terraexcava was Armodrillo's home planet. The page for Terraexcava would later be created on April 30, 2011 by another user named Sillifactu, citing Bandai's website and fan site Ben10Toys.net as sources. Archived pages from the Bandai site do not seem to have any information regarding Armodrillo's home planet. Thus, Poiana Lüncas is the true name of Armodrillo's home planet.[BTP 1]
