Xavier Mortimer was a magician from Season 10 of America's Got Talent, He was eliminated in the Judge Cuts. Xavier returned in Season 12, where he was eliminated in the Judge Cuts again.
Background
Born in the South of France, Xavier has traveled the world while creating shows that blend magic, circus acts, music and comedy. [1] He has lived in and performed in his own Las Vegas shows for years.
In 2011, Mortimer appeared on the sixth season of La France a un incroyable talent where he finished in 10th place.
In 2014, Mortimer appeared on the first season of the Italian competition series Tu Si Que Vales. [2]
In 2015, Mortimer appeared on Season 2 of Penn & Teller: Fool Us and returned on Season 3. Penn praised his performance and told him that he can come back as much as he wants. In 2020, Mortimer returned on the show and fooled the duo.
In 2016, Mortimer appeared on a British TV competition called The Next Great Magician hosted by "Britain's Got More Talent's" host, Stephen Mulhern, where he reached the Finals.
In 2017, Mortimer also appeared on The CW’s Masters Of Illusion.
Season 10 Audition
Xavier Mortimer's audition in Episode 1007 consisted of clapping cymbals and creating the illusion of money, cloth, and a a glass of wine appearing on the cymbals. Although Mel B voted "No", Howard Stern, Heidi Klum, and Howie Mandel voted "Yes," sending Xavier to the Judge Cuts round.
Season 10 Judge Cuts
Xavier Mortimer's Judge Cuts performance in Episode 1011 consisted of juggling four balls. Unfortunately, he dropped a ball. Howard Stern, Heidi Klum, Mel B, and Howie Mandel all buzzed the act, immediately eliminating Xavier from the competition.
Season 12 Audition
Xavier Mortimer returned in Season 12. His audition in Episode 1205 consisted of performing an illusion where a white glove appeared to develop a mind of its own and attack him. Howie Mandel, Mel B, Heidi Klum, and Simon Cowell all voted "Yes," sending Xavier to the Judge Cuts.
Season 12 Judge Cuts
Xavier Mortimer's Judge Cuts performance in Episode 1208 consisted of standing next to a mirror with a projection of another copy of himself. While next to the mirror, he manipulated props to give the impression that he was interacting with the mirrored self. Xavier's performance was not strong enough for the judges to send him to the Quarterfinals, eliminating him from the competition.

In 2018, Mortimer appeared on the fifth season of Tu Si Que Vales. [3]
In 2024, Mortimer competed on the fourteenth season of Romanii Au Talent.
