The Judge Cuts of Season 10 of America's Got Talent aired from from July 4, 2015 to August 4, 2015. A total of 80 acts performed. 36 acts proceeded to the Quarterfinals, and 51 acts were rejected.
Process
The Judge Cuts, the Season 10 equivalent of Season 9's Judgment week, featured many significant changes. Serving as the middle round between the auditions and the live shows, the Judge Cuts takes place over four weeks. Every week, 20 acts performed with only 7 moving on to the Quarterfinals.
Also new to the show is the inclusion of guest judges. Joining the main judging panel were four judges, one each week, invited by a separate judge. While each regular judge was given a normal buzzer, each guest had only a Golden Buzzer he could press to send an act to the live shows without further deliberation as one of the 7 acts.
In the rare case that an act receive four buzzes from the judges, the act was automatically eliminated.
