Slime Eye

Slime Eye is a boss in Link's Awakening.[2] and Echoes of Wisdom.

Characteristics

Link's Awakening

Slime Eye is the boss of the Key Cavern. Upon entering the room, it will taunt Link, saying that he cannot find it.[3] Instead of fighting the boss, numerous green Zols will fall from the ceiling to attack him. Link must use his Pegasus Boots to reveal Slime Eye by ramming the back wall. This will bring down the boss from its hiding place on the ceiling. Once Slime Eye appears, by using the Pegasus Boots in combination with his Sword, Link must perform a Dash Attack to split the gigantic eye into two. Then, he must slash the individual eyes until defeated. This gets Link the Sea Lily's Bell.

Echoes of Wisdom

Slime Eye, now with a wildly different look, is the miniboss of the Lanayru Temple. It is now weak to ice, and must be frozen to be attackable.
