Kahl new brother Sol-ar-is. That him there. Kahl find stuff, Chipper hand stuff out. Chipper tough like Grineer, but... not as smart. Chipper cut off own arms, legs, head. Over there good place for Chipper.
Kahl-175 when described Chipper


Chipper is a Solaris worker that was captured by  Narmer. After Kahl-175 removes his Narmer Veil, he joins the Grineer at the Drifter's Camp and supports  Kahl's Garrison, appearing at Rank 2 - Encampment with the Syndicate. Chipper exchanges unique items for  Stock. He also serves as the Defense target during Archon Hunts.

When the player reaches Rank 5 - Home with Kahl's Garrison and Rank 5 - Old Mate with Solaris United, Chipper will open his chest cavity, revealing his organic head and signifying his trust in the Tenno.

The chest cavity will not open if Creator Mode in Settings is enabled.

  • Chipper's voice line "Most a these jokers just want somethin' that goes bang on one end and boom where they point it." references a long-running gag in the community where Area of Effect Weapons were a largely dominant playstyle since Update 27.2 (2020-03-05) before being toned down in Update 32.0 (2022-09-07), the same update that introduced Chipper.
