Korok

	~ Korok, deciding the colony isn't worth the trouble.

Korok was a Klingon antagonist introduced in the Star Trek: Enterprise episode Marauders. He was portrayed by Robertson Dean, who also played a Romulan and a Reman in Star Trek related productions.

During the 2140s and 2150s Korok commanded a D5-class Klingon ship. A pirate, he would go to various colonies and force them to give them what they wanted - often barely leaving enough for the colonists to survive. In 2152 he and his band went to a colony they had been harassing for the past five years to demand more deuterium. He and his men assaulted some of the colonists when they didn't have the deuterium like they wanted and gave them four days to get them what they wanted.

What Korok didn't know was that the Enterprise (NX-01) under the command of Jonathan Archer was also at the colony, seeking deuterium while offering medical supplies and power cells in trade. Over the next four days Archer and his crew taught the colonists how to defend themselves, and helped them lure Korok's men into an ambush when they returned. When the colony leader Tessic told them to go away, Korok claimed he and his men could get deuterium anywhere and the colonists' deuterium was no good. Korok never did figure out how the colonists had become strong enough to resist them but figured they had received help from a third party, not knowing Archer and his crew were that third party.

Korok was not one of the millions of Klingons afflicted with the Qu'Vat virus, and as a result retained his forehead and other HemQuch features. Still, he sided with Quch'Ha such as Lokog, K'Vagh, and Kor in their fight against the High Council and others seeking to destroy the Quch'Ha. As a commoner who hated the nobility running the Empire Korok felt he had more in common with the likes of Lokog then his fellow HemQuch.

During the HemQuch counterattack Korok decided he was done running and was going to face the counterattack. He died when his ship was destroyed, while Lokog and other Quch'Ha forces retreated in order to regroup.
