Burzaan is the secondary antagonist of the Enterprise episode "Rogue Planet".
He was portrayed by Conor O'Farrell , who also played D'Jamat in "Chosen Realm".
Biography Burzaan was one of a trio of Eska hunters who travelled to the rogue planet Dakala. They were only allowed to hunt for four days each year in order to preserve the planet's population and had been waiting for their turn. They prized wraiths, a species capable of mimicking others. He and his companion Shiraht discovered Subcommander T'Pol and Lieutenant Reed on the planet and attacked them after mistaking them for wraiths. Realising their mistake, they took them back to their camp where Captain Archer and Commander Tucker had already met the group's leader, Damrus . While the quartet from Enterprise were slightly uncomfortable with the Eska's hunting philosophy, Reed asked permission to accompany them in order to observe their infra-red sensors and other techniques.
During the night, Archer saw one of the wraiths posing as a human woman. Burzaan and the others dismissed it, saying he'd been imagining things. The Eska set out with Reed, but Burzaan was injured by a drayjin. Shiraht convinced Damrus to take Archer up on his offer to take Burzaan back to Enterprise so Phlox could treat him. Burzaan was grateful although disappointed that he was left with no scars.
The three Eska then revealed the truth to the Enterprise crewmembers. They explained how they had learned to track a chemical that the wraiths released when frightened. Suspecting them of hunting sentient lifeforms, Archer and the others gave the wraiths a way of masking the chemicals. After a failed hunt, Burzaan and the others retreated back to their camp and found Archer waiting for them. Burzaan speculated that their sensors were malfunctioning.
