T-Tank is a stage enemy from Cannon Dancer.
Information
Appears in Stage 05 (Prague).
The T-Tank is a stationary battery machine found as part of the Capital City's defense line. It consists of a large wheeled contraption colored yellow and green, with a chaingun turret on top of it. A bullet belt connects it to a second chaingun turret installed upside-down on the platform the T-Tank stands on. It attacks by shooting a continuous line of fire from both turrets against Kirin as soon as he enters its range.
The T-Tank follows Kirin's position accurately, aiming its line of fire as he moves around. While it can aim at several different angles, it doesn't always reach Kirin's exact position, so there are certain areas where he can stand idle and the bullets will pass harmlessly around him. The difficult part is to approach it without being hit by its two lines of fire, as each turret tracks Kirin separately and their fire can cross over or otherwise restrict Kirin's ability to move freely, in particular when other enemies are nearby.
The two turrets and the body of the T-Tank can be attacked and destroyed separately, each having the same amount of hit and score points. Destroying the body takes the whole machine out but only counts the score points from the body, losing on the extra points from the two turrets.
