Mizuchi (spelled Mizuti in-game) is a stage enemy from Cannon Dancer.

Appears in Stage 05 (Forest of Memory).
Mizuchi is a large, green serpentine water dragon found lurking in the waters of the mysterious Forest of Memory. It comes out of the water to attack Kirin whenever he approaches its territory.
Mizuchi's only attack is to lunge forward to bite down. They start shaking before launching themselves at Kirin's position to strike him. Similarly to Sandora, Mizuchi's trajectory when attacking is dependent on Kirin's position (whether he's standing or in mid-air). Mizuchi constantly repeats this simple pattern until eliminated. Its only weak point is the head, which can be baited and attacked as the monster lunges and retreats from an attack.
Mizuchi are usually accompanied by a tiger who attacks Kirin as soon as he closes in on the area. The two enemies together compliment each other, with the tiger attacking at ground level while the Mizuchi aims for Kirin in mid-air, making the fight harder.
Design Notes
The Mizuchi is a Japanese mythological creature, a dragon with a serpent-like appearance and an affinity to water, which is replicated in the design of this enemy.
Coincidentally, one of the Fallen Striders from the 2014 Strider, Strider Koja, uses the kanji for Mizuchi as his codename.
