In Klingon mythology, Kortar, also known as The Ferryman, was the first Klingon. Kortar and his mate destroyed the gods, and as punishment, Kortar was condemned to ferry the souls of the dead to Gre'thor upon the Barge of the Dead.
Kortar's appearance was revamped as part of Season Twenty-two: House Reborn.
Missions involved
“Afterlife”: The Ferryman confronts the player, stating they do not belong on the Barge of the Dead, but agrees to help the player travel to Gre'thor and find Molor.
“Leap of Faith”: Kortar once again ferries the player to Gre'thor as they search for L'Rell.
