Armin Shimerman is an American actor and novelist known for portraying Quark on Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, a role he has reprised in Star Trek Online. He has also played an assortment of other guest characters, mainly Ferengi, on Deep Space Nine and Star Trek: The Next Generation.
