Falco

Falco (ファルコ^[1], Faruko^?) is an enemy that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog series. It is a mass-produced falcon-based Badnik created by Dr. Eggman.

Appearance

The Falco bears a great resemblance to the Egg Hawk during the Neo Metal Sonic incident. During the Sol Dimension incident, they are colored blue and resemble another bird Badnik.

Sonic Heroes

In Sonic Heroes, Falcos fly over the player and do not do any damage to the player unless touched, but they are sometimes armed with weapons. Most of them will fly at high speeds, but they may fly at lower speeds as seen in Robot Storm for Team Chaotix. Most will carry Egg Pawns into the battle, who will attack the player immediately. They appear in Egg Fleet without holding Egg Pawns, and are also seen dropping bombs. They can be destroyed easily by Thunder Shoot (regardless of whether it is upgraded with a Power Core or not) and are among the easiest enemies to destroy.

Sonic Rush

Falcos later reappear in Sonic Rush, in Altitude Limit. Here, they fly back and forth slowly. They can be easily destroyed by a Spin Jump or Axel Jump and will release an animal upon their destruction.
