Egg Treat

Egg Treat is a multiplayer stage for the Ring Race mode in Sonic Heroes. When playing through all three Ring Race stages, Egg Treat is the first stage.

Description

Egg Treat is set in the same stage as the Egg Hawk battle; it is that of a coastal area featuring a simple circuit of ancient ruins-like walkways (similar to those seen in Seaside Hill and Ocean Palace) that connect across the numerous islands over the sea. Unlike the Egg Hawk stage, Egg Treat is set at nighttime.

Overview

The two players will compete to collect more Rings than the other within a time limit of 60 seconds. Here, the Egg Hawk is present throughout the entire stage. Unlike most conventional boss fights in the game, the Egg Hawk will constantly fire Rings instead of harmful bullets (hence the theme of the stage's name), however these Rings will gradually disappear after a short time.

The Egg Hawk is invulnerable to any attack (although attacking it will spill out Rings); if the Team Blast is used near the Egg Hawk, the mech will be briefly immobilized (though it will still keep firing Rings). The Egg Hawk can still damage either player when they make physical contact with the Egg Hawk, serving as the only obstacle in the stage. Overall, the Egg Hawk in this stage serves as a very helpful source of Rings. helps both players in collecting a lot of Rings, quickly filling up their Team Blast Gauge and once full, they may attack the other team with Team Blast.
