Egg Rocket Zone (エッグロケットゾーン Eggurokettozōn?) is the sixth Zone in Sonic Advance. It is a rocket built by Dr. Eggman near a canyon during an attempt to establish the Eggman Empire. It consists of a unique Act, which is divided in three sections.
Description
The area takes place at a rocket near a canyon. The Zone itself is split into three major sections.
Story
Dr. Eggman used Egg Rocket Zone during his quest to establish the Eggman Empire by finding the Chaos Emeralds and turning Animals into Badniks. Hot on his heels, however, were Sonic, Tails, Knuckles and Amy, who managed to board the Egg Rocket Zone when it launched. As the heroes made their way through the Zone, they succeeded in making it into the different sections of the rockets, just before the sections behind them detached from the main rocket. Eventually, the Egg Rocket Zone arrived in the Cosmic Angel Zone.
Gameplay
Egg Rocket Zone starts outside, on a rocket-launching base during sundown. There, the player enters a rocket. When this happens, the rocket will take off and the time counter will be set to 4 minutes and 59 seconds, and it will start counting down. The player will have to make it to the next goal, where part of the rocket comes off and it moves even higher up before the clock counts all the way down. If the timer expires, the player will lose a life and will have to restart from the beginning of that section. If the player reaches the goal in a certain time, then the clock will be set back to 4 minutes and 59 seconds and will count down again. The final fragment takes the player into outer space. It features multiple bridges, anti-gravity devices and spikes. There is a total of three goals, making this Zone the longest in the entire game. The third goal is the entrance to the next Zone, the Cosmic Angel, where the rocket lands on.

- Egg Rocket Zone is the only Zone in Sonic Advance that does not have any Special Springs.
