Bound bell

The bound bell^[1] is an object that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog series. It is a type of golden bell that turns into a Red Star Ring when hit enough times.

Description

The bound bell resembles a typical golden real-life bell. It is about the size of Sonic the Hedgehog, with a blue clapper that has a yellow five-pointed star on it.

Overview

In the Wii U version and PC version of Sonic Lost World, the bound Bell can be found inside the game's different Zones, floating slightly above the ground.

In gameplay, when a bound bell is touched by the playable character, it will give off a small chime and fly a certain distance away to another section of the Zone. If the player touches a bell enough times, it will eventually turn into a Red Star Ring for the stage, which can then be collected by the player. However, if the player does not touch the bell fast enough, it will disappear and will not give a Red Star Ring.
