Xanadu (ザナドゥ) is a new character introducted in The King of Fighters XIV.
He is voiced by Yūji Fujita.
Development
Originally, SNK wanted The King of Fighters '94 to have a Prisoner Team, formed by Chang Koehan, Choi Bounge, and a third prisoner, but due to various circumstances, they added in Kim Kaphwan instead and made it the Korea Justice Team. Xanadu was created for KOF XIV with this concept in mind.
Story
This legendary criminal is currently imprisoned in an underground jail. A superior intellectual, Xanadu is considered to be the "King of the Underground" by the other prisoners.
Personality
Xanadu is considered by others and himself a 'superior intellectual' who talks about subjects and concepts that are supposedly very difficult for most people to understand, when in reality it is far more likely that he is extremely delusional and deranged. Chang and Choi are undestandably unsettled that the prisoners surrounding Xanadu seem far more energetic and lively than normal due to his overly charismatic personality.
Fighting Style
He bears a child-like temperament in battle and will cradle his opponent like a baby while humming, flailing his arms like a windmill, crawl along on the ground, throw tantrums, and using bodyweight along with brute strength to his advantage.

- Superhuman Strength - Xanadu is an extremely strong man capable of lifting, throwing and folding anyone with ease.
- Sonic Weapon - Xanadu yells extremely loud to blow his opponents away while also bringing fear to his opponent in some situations.
