Nelson (ネルソン) is a character in The King of Fighters series. He debut in The King of Fighters XIV.
He is voiced by Kengo Takanashi.
Personality
Nelson is generally a relaxed person outside of battles, but is also very loud, confident, and energetic while in the ring. He also proves to be nice and loving, especially to his fiancée.
Powers
- Aerokinesis/Fast Punches - Thanks to his arm, Nelson can create small wind currents around some of his punches and perform an invisible multi-hitting attack that's presumed to be wind. However, that move could just as easily be him punching too fast for the human eye to see.
- Power Punch - Another power coming from his arm, Nelson's incredible punching power can even hurt giants like Xanadu, Chang Koehan, Goro Daimon, Maxima, Antonov, and Verse.
Skills
Nelson is very skillful in all kind of sports. The reason for this is to keep himself away from losing weight.
Fighting Style
Nelson relies heavily on punching attacks, with his feet providing agile footwork. He also has a mechanical prosthetic arm on his left arm, which may be enhancing his punching power on that side. Some of his moves also resembles Heavy D!'s moves from KOF 98.
