Day 134 took place on 3 April 2020. It followed the events of Day 133 and is followed by the events of Day 135. This day marked the start of Week 20.

Major Events

SMPEarth Olympics

• Today was the highly-anticipated first day of the server-wide, multi-sport event as announced on Day 116.
• However, a statement was released on the official SMPEarth Twitter account informing that the event would be postponed to the next day.

SMPEarth Hunger Games

• Several hours later at 10PM EST / 2AM GMT, Michaelmcchill announced that a Charity Hunger Games event will take place at 2PM EST / 6PM GMT on Day 135, in lieu of the Olympics. Much like its predecessor, the event aims to raise fund for The Trevor Project.
  • This change of plan was made after a 6-hour discussion with the server's administration, as stated by the official SMPEarth Twitter.
    • JoshA20, KotiePlayz and FallyFire were present throughout the announcement.
  • Simultaneously, Kotie and Eret also provided assistance for the preparation of the event's map.

    • 

      Landmarks from all over the server were duplicated and located in American Midwest (an area between the Great Lakes and the Rockies, including the former lands of Gary, Indiana):
      • Parisian Eiffel Tower from Corvarian France, Corvarian Empire
      • O.D.S.Y Building and the Olympic Stadium from Log Lagoon
      • Technoblade's Palace in Port-aux-Francais and the Boomer Mansion from the Antarctic Empire
      • The Lincoln Lodge from Fairbanks, Alaska
      • The Great Pyramid of Steve from New Hawaii, Ursus
      • The Statue of Liberty from Bean York City, Bean
      • The Parthenon from Aeropostale
    • Spawn point was reset from the Atlantic Ocean to the American Midwest, approximately northeast of the Laramie Online Office.
      • It is located inside a duplicate Olympic Stadium which would serve as the starting point (cornucopia) for the games.
  • There has yet to be a confirmed list of participants or team/factions for the game.
  • All faction and colonial claims on the server were revoked as seen from the Dynmap.

Other Events

• Michaelmcchill announced that the Hunger Games would be his final stream on SMPEarth.
• Eret proclaimed in the SMPEarth Discord that he had once again "removed" Hawaii out of existence, after he decimated RedVacktor's tropical island built on Day 81, continuing the legacy of the successful Hawaiian Heist.
  • This was later reverted after the map was reset on Day 136 following the Hunger Games.

DEFCON levels

On Day 134, the DEFCON level was 4, as there was no risk of war.
