The Olympic Stadium is a sports venue located north of Log Lagoon. It started construction on Day 60 by the members of Log Lagoon as well as many other players from many other factions. It is intended to be the main venue for the upcoming server-wide sporting event, SMPEarth Olympics. The stadium is currently located in the Sea of Okhotsk.
To the left of the stadium is a giant brazier for the Olympic Flame, and to the right are the five rings representing the event.
It features several billboards mounted along the area, while the sky is filled with planetoids, a red Battle Bus, and the VoiceOverBlimp. Teleportation signs and buttons are the major forms of transport utilized to access these areas, with some serving as elevators and others as direct teleporters.
History
Day 60
Grunk began construction of the Olympic Village to the north of Log Lagoon. Grunk, Isaacwhy, SoftWilly, TanningOil, Chip, Sylvee and InkTea then later inaugurated the construction of the Olympic Stadium.
Day 61
Significant progress was made on the structure as the colloseum seating was added. [REDACTED; ADD MORE DETAIL]
Day 63
SoftWilly, Isaacwhy, TanningOil, Chip and VoiceOverPete finalized the construction of the tracks and turf in the Olympic Stadium.
TimeDeo and Eret later visited the stadium to observe the progress.
While building, Chip showcased several tricks and effects that they could apply during the upcoming event, such as flooding the central area with water for swimming events or lighting it in flames.
Pete sneakily claimed several chunks of the stadium as a joke. The stadium was later claimed by the Wilderness (faction). Pete also built the VoiceOverBlimp, a blimp with a large viewing area. He plans to spectate and commentate from the blimp hovering above.
Day 64
InkTea starts work on 'Ender Pearl Golf' where the player has to ender pearl into the hole with the least amount of throws possible. There will be a 'caddy' (player from the enemy team) who has to count your amount of throws.
Day 81
The stadium is claimed by Log Lagoon following the Fourth Faction Reset.
