Shauna is a character from Pokémon X and Pokémon Y. She is an energetic girl who is eager to follow her dreams, and is also genuinely curious about her friends' progress in their travels.
Appearance
Shauna is a short young girl with tan skin and light green eyes. Her hair (which has a spiky tuft on her forehead) is long and brown and is kept in curly pigtails. Clothing-wise, Shauna wears a fashionable, feminine, and cute outfit that matches her personality. It consists of a dark pink T-shirt decorated with three black bows, very small blue denim shorts with black frills on the bottom, and dark pink ballet type shoes with short heels and matching ankle cuffs. For accessories, Shauna wears a dark pink wristband and a black frilly bobble on her right wrist. She also carries around a white and pink purse that matches her shirt, complete with a black bow.
Personality
Shauna has a sunny, optimistic demeanor. A happy-go-lucky girl, she's upbeat and smiles often, with an energetic and bubbly side to match. She wants to treasure the friendships and memories she makes and has a somewhat carefree attitude, though she can occasionally be a little ditzy. This can be seen early on in her adventure, as she gets amazed when hearing about how Pokémon go inside Poké Balls. She can also be childish and likes to accentuate her speech. Despite this, she can sometimes get pouty or even feel a little shy, as can be seen when she watches fireworks with the player.
Biography
Shauna appears as a friend of the player (Calem or Serena). Shauna is apparently energetic and curious about her friends' progress in their travels.
After defeating the Elite Four and Diantha, Shauna will trade the player a Lv.5 version of her starter that she has given a nickname:

Trivia
- If the player character is Calem, Shauna is very heavily implied to have developed a crush on them during their adventure. This was actually intentional, as Junichi Masuda himself confirmed in an interview that Shauna is 'interested' in them. Similarly, he also revealed in the same interview that he wanted to implement elements of romance if the chosen player character was male. [1]
