Johto Route 32 (Japanese: ３２ばんどうろ, Hepburn: 32 Bandouro) is a route that is located in the aptly-named Johto region. It has four exits: a north exit, a south exit, and a west exit. The north exit leads to Violet City, the south exit leads to Union Cave, and the west exit leads to the Ruins of Alph. In Generation II and Generation IV, there is a man along the route that will not let the player character pass until they have defeated Falkner at the Violet City Gym. After the player defeats Falkner, the man will give them a Miracle Seed, which boosts a Pokémon's Grass-type moves.

This person won't let the player go by unless it has the Zephyr Badge. When the player has the badge, this person will give the player a Miracle Seed.
After using Cut to remove the tree, the player can receive a TM05 (Roar) from this person.
On Friday, Frieda is at this spot and gives the player a Poison Barb.
