The Enigma Berry is a Berry introduced in Generation III. It is originally a placeholder for the e-Reader Berries in Generation III, then an event-exclusive Berry since Generation IV until the release of Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield Expansion Pass.

The Enigma Berry is based on a sunflower seed and a question mark (?). It apparently gets its name from the word "enigma".
