Neutral

A character that is neutral isn't part of either side in the major conflicts that occur, such as the Crystal War, though some characters do occasionally work with one or both of the major groups.

Neutral Characters



  • Atlas, Jenos, Io, and Imani have been seen fighting alongside the Resistance, but don't share their goals regarding crystals.
  • Tiberius has been described as being "vaguely alligned with the Resistance", with it later being clarified that Tiberius was more or less battling Raum specifically alongside the Resistance, as Raum being summoned by Corvus had led to Raum being more associated with the Magistrate.
  • Despite some hints at Moji joining the Resistance, such as in the Dark Tides lore cinematic, it's confirmed here that Moji is more neutral.
  • Though Androxus is connected to the Abyss due to his curse, he doesn't appear to be aware of the connection, nor does he seem to have much relation with any of the Abyssal characters.
  • Ruckus and Maeve were seen on both the Magistrate and Resistance's sides during End Times,[1][2] while Maeve was seen with the Resistance during Siege of Ascension Peak.[3] Maeve is assumed to have been hired, though Ruckus' reason is unknown.
  • Bomb King, Dredge, and Drogoz were seen on both sides during the Future's End update.[4][5] Dredge in particular is the strangest, due to him having just attacked the Resistance not long before.[6]
  • Zhin was seen on the Magistrate's side during the Siege of Ascension Peak event[3], though he'll seemingly work with almost anyone as long as they pay him enough.
