Girash first appeared in the promotional artwork for Uta no Uta: ONE PIECE FILM RED. He and Blion were included as one of the five possible collectible cards that came with the physical album, listed as the Animal Band (動物バンド?), instead of their group name written in full katakana.[4]
Trivia
Girash's name seems to be a combination of "giraffe" (ジラフ,jirafu?) and "Slash" (スラッシュ,Surasshu?). He is likely a reference to Slash, the lead guitarist of Guns N' Roses, with whom he also shares visual elements such as a top hat and long hair.
