Shopan is a television anchor in the Chopper Man franchise. She commentated on the wrestling match between Dr. Usodabada and Chopper Man alongside Kazeno Minoru.[1]
Appearance
Shopan is an average-sized young woman with fair skin, brown eyes, and short brown hair. She wears a yellow, striped shirt with a pink undershirt and blue pants.
Personality
Shopan dislikes Dr. Usodabada and was scared when he kidnapped her. She was also surprised when he was "beating" Chopper Man in the wrestling match.
She, like most others, loves Chopper Man and finds him adorable.
History
Shopan was reporting the news when Dr. Usodabada and his gang took her and the TV studio hostage.
When the wrestling match between Chopper Man and Dr. Usodabada began, Shopan and Kazeno Minoru commentated on it. She spoke with Minoru during the fight, and both suspected something amiss.
After Chopper Man defeated Usodabada and Gigantic Robot Frangashan, Shopan interviewed him.
Trivia
- Shopan is based on Fuji TV announcer Yoko Shono, who voices the character. Her name, "Shopan", is Shono's professional nickname and the name of the late-night talk variety show she hosted from October 2007 to September 2008; additionally, before being abducted by Dr. Usodabada, Shopan was hosting a show titled "Today's Fuji News".
