The Scrap Tower is a rebellion outpost introduced in Metal Slug 7/XX. It appears as a mini-boss for Mission 1.
Information
The Scrap Tower is a Rebel outpost used to drive away any unwanted visitors. As the name implies, it made with garbage of all types within Scrap Island; the tower's door uses a Rebel soldier's shield. It has only one weapon to attack being the mortar on the tower's second floor. Various Rebel soldiers come in from all sides to protect the tower. Fortunately, it is very weak, and giving it enough damage will knock the tower over.
In Other Games
Metal Slug Defense
The Scrap Tower appears as a purchasable unit serving as a makeshift wall. Like most stationary units, it is built using a fragile Miner.
Metal Slug Attack
The Scrap Tower also made a playable reappearance in the "Mars Sweeper" Extra Ops, where it also served as the boss of the event. Unlike its predecessor, the Scrap Tower is manned by yellow Special Forces Soldiers instead of green Rebel Soldiers.
It functions much like its Metal Slug Defense counterpart, but it was also given stun immunity treating all stun attacks as normal ones. Upon deployment, the Bazooka Soldier on top will fire his bazooka as a primary attack. When enemies get too close to the tower, it will call forth a Shielded Soldier.
