La Torne is a Ptolemaic Army tank introduced in Metal Slug Attack. It first made its debut in the Extra Ops, "My Beach".
Information
La Torne is luxury liner-type tank developed by Caroline. It constantly spews out water from the front to simulate the seaside. Sisilia and the Ptolemaic Infantry operate La Torne because their entire summer season is filled with missions and can't go to the beach.
Sisilia occasionally fires cannonballs from La Torne, which rapidly roll onto an enemy unit before exploding. Her music is also amplified to the point that it can directly heal and support allies that are in range of her music.
An automated variant would later be developed, known as the Sand Twister No. 1. It is a highly durable version compared to La Torne, outfitted with an auto-repair kit and plating that protects it from all attacks. Rather than relying on cannonballs to damage enemies, the Sand Twister accumulates sand and air to launch dangerous mini-tornadoes of sand at enemies.
