Goo Shaver, known as Gel Shaver (ジェルシェイバー Jeru Sheibā) in Japan, is the Special Weapon that Mega Man X gains from defeating Tidal Whale in Mega Man X5. In normal fire, X shoots a small wave of icy gel (possibly liquid nitrogen), which falls to the floor and rushes forwards. This weapon is capable of scaling down walls, and will disappear if it hits an enemy. Up to three Goo Shavers can be on the screen at a time. Charged up, X launches a row of ice blocks - four on each side - in front and behind him which go up in the air then go down until they are off the screen. This weapon is needed to get the Falcon Armor's Body Part.
This weapon is the primary weakness for Volt Kraken and Rangda Bangda W's sun-like component.
