C-Sword (possibly an abbr. for "Crescent Sword"), known as Mikazukizan (三日月斬 lit. "Crescent Moon Slash") in Japan, is the special technique that Zero learns after defeating Crescent Grizzly in Mega Man X5.
Description
When the player presses the Attack Button when Zero is in midair, instead of a normal air slash, he will perform a circular slash with his Z-Saber, creating a large, yellow energy crescent in the direction he is facing. Like Kuuenbu from the previous game, C-Sword also allows Zero to double jump, giving him the ability to reach new heights as well as replacing his normal midair slash for the remainder of the game.
Tidal Whale, Rangda Bangda W's green eye component, and all parts of U-555 are weak to this technique. C-Sword is also effective when fighting against Dynamo and both of Sigma's forms.

- Once C-Sword has been learned, it will permanently replace Zero's mid-air slash for the remainder of the game.
Other appearances
In Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite, Zero can perform this move by releasing a max Hyper Zero Blaster charge during his Raikousen, where he falls down with a three-somersault slash like his Kuuenzan. Unlike Kuuenzan, the animation of the move lasts even when he touches the ground, and only during the ending frames Zero lands with no landing recovery afterwards.
