Family Basic is one of 9-Volt's Nintendo Classics microgames in WarioWare, Inc.: Mega Microgame$! and WarioWare, Inc.: Mega Party Game$!. The microgame is focused around the Family BASIC peripheral for the Family Computer, and it has the same name as Family BASIC, the only difference being that the latter word is not all capitalized.
Gameplay
The player has the input the requested letter or number onto the Family BASIC keyboard before time runs out, otherwise they lose.
Difficulty levels
- Level 1: The player must press the number shown onscreen, and only the number keys are visible.
- Level 2: The player must press the letter shown onscreen, and only the letter keys are visible.
- Level 3: The objective is to select either the number or letter in the objective, chosen by the game at random. Being the highest difficulty, all keys are made visible on the keyboard.
