Walkthrough #1 -
Mini-Paint Star
After seeing a toad fall from a big airship bucket in the sky, you will encounter an unopenable gate. Using Huey's new cutout technique can allow you to walk on the clear line and over the gate. Once cutout is complete, you can peel the bowser tape off of the gate to open it. In the next area, make your way through the various bridges, watermills, and enemy encounters to reach the next area. As you clear the bridges, a Shy Guy is being forced to join a Shy Guy Stack, but runs away and slips into the water below. Reaching the area he fell in will reveal that he turned into a Soggy Guy, a wet and weaker variation of a normal Shy Guy. This Soggy Guy will give up and give Mario a Max Cards Up item, giving two battle card slots instead of one. After a battle with a few Shy Guy Stacks, toad shoes will be found in the bush up ahead. Proceeding into the next area and going through the watermill reveals a small island with a tree. This tree has the toad pants item in the leaves, which will fall after Mario uses his hammer to hit the trunk of the tree. After returning to the bridge and clearing some more enemies, you will encounter a bridge with large gusts of wind, blowing nearby Shy Guys towards you. Crossing the bridge will show the cause of the gusts, a giant Fan thing. Going on the closeby dock will have a sign that hints to using the cutout technique. Using cutout on the dock will reveal a path over the distant hill. Crossing the hill will allow you to wring out the Fan, and clear the bowser tape over a bridge. Crossing the bridge back to the original area, going on the bridge on the left will reveal a semi naked Justice Toad hanging on a tree. After hitting him down, he will ask to be given his clothes back. For the first Mini-Paint Star in the area, proceed north and fight the Pry Guy holding a book. Continue through the enemies on the bridge and go through more watermills to reveal the
Mini-Paint Star just out of reach over a broken bridge. Going back and on a closeby dock and using the cutout technique will allow you to cross the broken bridge, and obtain the
Mini-Paint Star. Collecting the
Mini-Paint Star will clear the level, unlocking The Crismon Tower on the map.

Walkthrough #2 -
Mini-Paint Star
(At this point, you should already have the shoes, the pants, and the book). Justice Toad still requires his vest, which is located by crossing the bridge that had the bowser tape, and found in a crevice on the bridge that's unobtainable. The water is being drained by a blue Slurp Guy. going in the vacant pool and past the still watermill will reveal him draining the water source. Once Mario defeats the Slurp Guy and uses the Paint Hammer on the waterfall, the water will flow, floating the wood into a bridge that is now walkable. Finding the vest in the crevice will be the last item needed for Justice Toad. Giving him his items back will give him his Super Justice Suit and the confidence to move from his secluded bush, and will help assist you to find the Mini-Paint Star. Crossing the new wooden bridge over the water and climbing up the upscaling bridge will show Justice Toad standing next to the
Mini-Paint Star just out of reach. He tells Mario and Huey to stand back, and after a few struggles unlocks his true potention and the power to move anything at will. He now has a key shape on his head, and later reveals he is one of the three chosen toads. Collecting the
Mini-Paint Star will clear the level, unlocking Bloo Bay Beach on the map.
