Prism Island is the main location of Paper Mario: Color Splash. This map is used to select each level, similar to the level selection in Super Mario Bros 3. This map is also where the Shy Bandit is fought, seen attempting to drain levels of their color.
Regions
The island is first found drained of half its colors. As each Big Paint Star is collected, a new area is unlocked to find the next colored Big Paint Star. Prism Island has six unique regions in each of the colors of the rainbow. The following regions have these levels in them:
- Red region: Ruddy Road, Cherry Lake, The Crimson Tower, Redpepper Volcano, Redpepper Crater
- Yellow region: Daffodil Peak, Sunglow Ridge, Château Chanterelle, The Golden Coliseum, Mustard Café
- Blue region: Indigo Underground, Bloo Bay Beach, Dark Bloo Inn, Cobalt Base, Fort Cobalt
- Purple/violet region: Plum Park, Violet Passage, Vortex Island, Lighthouse Island, Fortune Island
- Orange region: Marmalade Valley, Kiwano Temple, Toad Trainworks, Tangerino Grill, Sunset Express
- Green region: Mondo Woods, Sacred Forest, Green Energy Plant, Mossrock Theater, Emerald Circus
The only locations without specific regions are Port Prisma and Black Bowser's Castle.
