Summary
A week ago, Alibaba shares his plans of transforming Kou Empire into a trading nation as they can become the biggest company with the out of place soldiers to become the new workers. When Koubun argues that soldiers are too prideful and refuse to become traders, Alibaba yells at him to underestimate merchants and reasons that everyone can be suitable for something. He wants everyone to live with pride and live to want something they want to be.
While the country first to focus on agriculture, Koubun points out their geographic location makes it hard for them to trade and sell their produce as the mountains are too vast to cross over as well as losing Balbadd, access to sea trading routes. Alibaba asks if they can use or create airships. One elderly man states only Sinbad's country can manufacture them.
Then, Alibaba asks Sinbad to loan a hundred airships, but Sinbad refuses, reminding Alibaba that he said Kou Empire should save itself with its own hands. Alibaba gets an idea to rely on another person.
