Cathy (キャシー, Kyashī) is a minor character in Legend of Legaia. She is a competitor in the dance contest at Sol Tower.
Appearance
Cathy has light green hair tied in a ponytail and blue eyes. She wears a one-piece dress and shoes of the same color.
Personality
Cathy considers herself an average girl, but has a passion for dancing that makes her feel alive. Despite the existence of the Mist in the lower levels of her hometown, dancing is such an important part of her life that she has made it a goal to one day become the Dancing Queen by defeating Mary in the world-famous dance contest at Sol's Fever Disco. She is shown to normally be energetic and cheerful, and although she will look at the judge in disbelief if defeated in the dance contest, she remains friendly to the winner of the dance contest and will even seek Noa's approval of her dancing if Noa wins the title.

Cathy is found dancing onstage at the Fever Disco in Sol Tower. Due to her skill and notoriety among the dancers in Sol, her picture flashes on the panels behind the stage as songs play, an honor bestowed on only herself, Mary, Disco King, and eventually Noa (if she wins the contest). Cathy will compete in the preliminary round for the dance contest and always make it to the final round against the dance queen, Mary. The judge introduces her on stage as a lovely dancer who dances gracefully, but despite her skill she will always come in second or third place in the round that Mary competes in.
Trivia
- Cathy's special dance move consists of twirling three times before landing with her knees to the floor and crossing her arms in an "X". She then rises and strikes a pose with an arm behind her head before resuming her regular dance steps.
