Riku (Korean: 리쿠; Japanese: リク) is a Japanese rapper and singer under SM Entertainment. He is a member of the boy group NCT and its sub-unit NCT WISH.
Career
2023–present: NCT Universe : LASTART, debut with NCT WISH
On July 10, 2023, Riku, alongside Ryo, were revealed as contestants of SM Entertainment's NCT Universe : LASTART.[2] He ranked 1st, thus making him a member of NCT WISH.[3]
They released their pre-debut single "Hands Up" on October 19, 2023 and debuted on February 21, 2024 with the single "Wish".

Health
On October 22, 2024, SM Entertainment released a statement announcing that Riku would be going on a hiatus period from activities after a recent "worsening of his health" to receive sufficient rest and stability.[4]
On February 3, 2025, SM Entertainment announced that Riku will be coming back to the group in March as his condition has significantly improved.[5]
