Chenle

Chenle (Korean: 천러; Japanese: チョンロ) is a Chinese singer and lyricist under SM Entertainment. He is a member of the boy group NCT and its sub-units NCT DREAM and NCT U.

Career

2016: Debut with NCT

On August 25, 2016, he officially debuted as a member of the 3rd unit NCT DREAM, with the single "Chewing Gum".

On March 14, 2018, NCT released their first full album as part of a large-scale project uniting all of its subgroups: NCT 2018 Empathy.

2020: NCT U

On October 12, he made his official debut under the sub-unit NCT U, as a part of the NCT's 2020 project NCT Resonance Pt. 1, with the song "From Home".

Personal life

Health

On March 16, SM Entertainment released a statement stating that while preparing for the their second full length album, Glitch Mode, Chenle injured his left ankle. He expressed his desire to still be part of the album activities and will only be participating in schedules that are within reasonable bounds while he is recovering from his injury.[1]
