An Energy Capsule is an item in the Kirby series debuting in Kirby's Return to Dream Land Deluxe.

Energy Capsules only appear in the Booming Blasters sub-game where they randomly appear in certain spots of the stage. When a character touches one, they will refill their current ammo amount by 5. Energy Capsules telegraph their appearance with a ball of electricity, however the time in which they actually appear is different ranging from one second to roughly two seconds as to trick players to rushing to one. Untouched Energy Capsules despawn roughly 15 seconds after appearing.
As the match progresses, the rate at which Energy Capsules spawn will increase, the limit being telegraphing their appearance directly after the previous Energy Capsule spawns. At Level 2 and Level 3, two or three Energy Capsules can appear on the stage at a time.
Trivia
- When characters pick up an Energy Capsule, they will actually eat it.
