Grand Hammer is a Super Ability introduced in Kirby's Return to Dream Land.

Kirby's Return to Dream Land and Kirby's Return to Dream Land Deluxe
Super Hammer is an upgraded version of Hammer, and is acquired by inhaling a Super Bonkers after it has been defeated or by inhaling a giant white hammer (only during the battle against Magolor EX).
Although Grand Hammer's attacks are heavy and unwieldy, like Ultra Sword and Monster Flame, every other character besides the user pauses during the attack, so it is impossible to miss anything beneath Kirby, which is a good thing as the ability only pounds objects into the ground if he is directly over it, regardless of how large the size of the hammer's head may be. The first size pounds in a third of a large stake, the second size pounds in two thirds, and the third will pound in an entire large stake.
During the Magolor EX fight, after two pieces of his Magic Barrier are destroyed by Snow Bowl, he summons a giant white hammer for Kirby to obtain Grand Hammer. After destroying two more pieces of the Magic Barrier, Magolor dispels the ability and moves to the next phase, which requires Ultra Sword. During the second phase of the Magolor Soul fight, he can use a Grand Hammer attack, although his version creates an icy shockwave that causes icicles to form on the floor, with more icicles forming on the ceiling that fall down; in The True Arena of Kirby's Return to Dream Land Deluxe, Magolor Soul performs his Grand Hammer technique with the screen flipped.
