“ | The boss of all Doomers has become a black-winged subjugator powered by shards of the crown…and he's after Magolor's red fruit! Is this payback for making Kirby gather those ship parts?!” |
— VS Crowned Doomer • Kirby's Return to Dream Land Deluxe |
Crowned Doomer is a boss in the Kirby series, debuting in Kirby's Return to Dream Land Deluxe as the secondary antagonist of Magolor Epilogue: The Interdimensional Traveler.
Physical Appearance
Crowned Doomer has an appearance similar to its previous form, having a round orb body, a mean expression in its glowing yellow eyes, and small teeth with two large fangs up front. Instead of golden yellow or dark red, its body, wings, and fifteen tail feathers are now all a deep purple, with some parts of its wings and tail feathers appearing black. Two pieces of the energy sphere gears make up its horns, swapping it out for the many spikes that line the head of the original Grand Doomer. Near its tail feathers is another piece of an energy sphere and 2 eyepieces of the Master Crown can be seen on its wings. Inside of its mouth is the Gem Apple Seed.

Kirby's Return to Dream Land Deluxe
Crowned Doomer is an empowered version of the Grand Doomer, serving as the penultimate boss in Magolor Epilogue: The Interdimensional Traveler.
After Magolor fully completes the Gem Apple Seed to restore his powers, the shards of the Master Crown come in out of nowhere and absorb the fruit. This forms the Crowned Doomer, a revived and much more powerful version of the Grand Doomer who is seemingly out to stop Magolor as vengeance for making Kirby and his friends gather the pieces of the Lor Starcutter in the main game. During its boss fight, Crowned Doomer has a variety of attacks that it uses to damage Magolor. These attacks include launching large spheres of electricity or water, summoning a barrage of laser beams, dropping bombs, teleporting quickly and hiding in the shadows in an attempt to grab the player, and tackling while covered in flames.
In the second phase, the Crowned Doomer releases a powerful roar that destroys the walls surrounding the Ethereal Altar, revealing the purple void behind them. It also starts to tap into the power of the Master Crown, evident by the pieces of the crown under its wings glowing. It then starts to use more powerful attacks such as releasing a barrage of energy spheres from the air similar to Galacta Knight, creating portals and firing lasers from them in many patterns, rapidly shooting spheres in two rotations, disappearing and emerging from one of the four vortexes it creates, and even summoning Rampaging Doomers from a dimensional rift just like Magolor could do during his first phase. Upon defeat, the Crowned Doomer explodes and relinquishes the Gem Apple Seed, but not before the Master Crown absorbs its power to transform, leading into the fight with the crown itself.
