Cheese Fondue is a minigame stage in Kirby's Dream Buffet.
General Information
Cheese Fondue is a circular pot of cheese fondue, featuring floating sliced vegetables, sliced tomatoes, crackers and breads. Falling in the fondue slows movement, so remaining on the wiggling pieces of food that slowly rotate in the pot is essential. During the course of the falling strawberries event, spiked chocolate balls serve as hazards which fall and explode. The bombs briefly stun any Kirby they hit. Two kinds of minigame events can be played on this stage: "Eat the falling strawberries!" and "Defeat enemies and eat strawberries!". When 20-30 seconds are up, depending on the selected mode, the minigame ends.
Cheese Fondue is a default stage that does not need to be unlocked to appear in battle royale matches.
Variants
The stage has six variants that can appear at random at the start of a battle royale match, each with an associated event. Each variant has its own unique layout and placement of objects.
