Karja Balta (カージャ・バルタ^?) is the only daughter of the Balta Seaforce's jarl, Grimson.

She unabashedly leads a crew of marauders to carry out the Seaforce's piratical activities. The sight of such acts strikes fear into the residents of Carnac, who refer to her as the Pirate Princess.

While she may look refined at a glance, she fights as ruthlessly and brutally as any Norman, axe and shield in hand.

Appearance

Karja is a young woman with aquamarine blue eyes and blonde hair that is tied in a ponytail using a purple scrunchie, with a part of her hair styled into a braid. She wears an off-shoulder white coat, worn over a sleeveless black buttoned shirt which is adorned with a brooch. She pairs this with purple tight shorts fastened with a teal belt, a pair of fingerless gloves, along with purple and brown boots.

【Balta Seaforce】
The only daughter of the Balta Seaforce's jarl, Grimson. Dubbed the "Pirate Princess", she is feared amongst the townsfolk. She is also one of the few Mana wielders, but winds up bound to Adol by cuffs made of Mana.

	First Shield Brother Guided by circumstance, she and Adol take on the rite. By working in tandem, they suurmount the trial, earning official recognition as Shield Brothers.
	Memories of Mom The morning after the storm, Karja confided in Adol her memories of her deceased mother, her expression unusually serene. The distance between her and Adol seems to have been bridged.
	Rollo's Bloodline Rollo of the Bloody Seas brought forth the Griegr, who refer to him as their "liege." Being his descendant, Karja makes for a suitable "vessel"-the key to reviving him.
